Moraiolo is one of the most famous and appreciated types of olive trees and is typically grown in central Italy. From it, one of the best oils in the entire Italian peninsula is obtained.
The extra-virgin olive oil derived from this cultivar has a high content of polyphenols (beneficial substances for health, with strong antioxidant properties against free radicals) and is highly appreciated for its fruity aroma and perfect balance between bitterness and spiciness.
