The Company

Love for our land

The “Gli Oliveti del Poggio” olive company was founded in 2016 by Matteo Fratini’s desire to complete the project inaugurated in 2002 with the creation of the “Poggio dell’Oliveto” family farm business.

The cleverly constructed structure has its roots in the midde Tiber Valley in Piedicolle di Collazzone, a magnificent hamlet just a stone’s throw from Todi, the gem of the Martani Hills.

Third Generation

“Gli Oliveti del Poggio” is the perfect synthesis of passion, emotions and a sense of duty. From this premise, it is easy to see why the brand “I POTTI DE FRATINI” was chosen, as it is the Todi dialect for “The children of the Fratinis”, descendents of a family with strong, healthy morals. Love for animals, passion for the earth and its most precious fruits have always framed the commitment that the Fratini family has put into creating this new business that takes care of olive trees and produces high quality oil.

DOP Umbria Colli Martani

Delightful debut on enveloping notes of green artichoke and white almond. Distinctly reminiscent of aromatic plants, which increases in the flavour to evoke fresh perceptions of savory, rosemary and mint. The bitterness and the spiciness are perfectly balanced and alternate seamlessly in the extremely long, decisive finale.
